Rapha Health and Wellness focuses on helping teens and adults stay healthy with preventive medicine and individualized care that promotes optimal wellness. Nneka Edokpayi, MD, and the entire team welcome patients at two office locations in Houston and Sugar Land, Texas!
With a dedication to providing timely and convenient health care, they offer same-day or next-day appointments, as well as telehealth appointments. Dr. Edokpayi also goes on house calls, so patients can get the care they need when they need it.
As a primary care and internal medicine practice, they offer comprehensive care, from acute illness management to the long-term care of chronic diseases. Their services include sick visits, preventive exams, and immigration evaluations.
The team also performs echocardiograms in the office, promptly diagnosing cardiovascular problems and ensuring patients get immediate care when needed for their heart.
MEET DR. NNEKA
Dr. Nneka Edokpayi, MD
Nneka Edokpayi, MD, the medical director of Rapha Health and Wellness, welcomes patients at two office locations in Houston and Sugar Land, Texas.
As a board-certified internal medicine physician, she specializes in treating hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity, allergies, diabetes, fatigue, and substance use disorder. She's also an expert in immune system disorders. Dr. Edokpayi focuses on preventive medical care, addressing each person's overall well-being and working with them to achieve their health goals. She's dedicated to treating chronic and acute illnesses, providing prompt care in the office, patients' homes, and through virtual visits.
Dr. Edokpayi earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in public health from George Washington University in Washington, DC, and her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in the same city. She then completed her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Howard University Hospital. Dr. Edokpayi is a member of several organizations, including HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest in Houston, the American Medical Association (AMA), the American College of Physicians (ACP), the Texas Medical Association, and the Fort Bend Medical Society.
Dr. Edokpayi is married with two lovely children. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and mission work with her church.
